Information about cable drums
Environment-friendliness of products and production is important for Nestor Cables. Environmental considerations are integrated also into product packaging. Most of the cable products are delivered to customers by using drums made of wood, plywood or plastic. Our partner in handling the recyclable cable drums is Versowood Oy.
Colour codes of the fibre optic cables
We can manufacture cables following these standard color systems: FIN2012, ANSI/TIA (American National Standards Institute / Telecommunications Industry Association) and DIN/VDE (Deutsches Institut für Normung e.V. / Verband derElektrotechnik Elektronik Informationstechnik e.V.). In addition to the mentioned standards, we can also customise colour codings according to the customer’s wishes.
